At the library room 7 read a book about how to make forts. We worked in groups of 5 to make our own forts. We had to work as a team. We used sheets, pillows, chairs and tables. One of our groups turned their fort into a library, another group chose to make a boy's room and girl's room. The final group made two rooms, one with pillows to make the ground comfortable. This is the room where you read softcover books. The other bedroom was empty and was to read hardcover books. The reason for this is because we have a rule that hardcover books have to be on the floor or on a table in order to protect the spine. This group also incorporated the library computers into their fort as their office. We thought this was pretty cool. All three groups worked wonderfully together and had such wonderful ideas. ReplyDeleteI loved reading about your forts! I remember making forts with blankets and chairs when I was little. I can see you are really good at remembering the library rules. What are some other important rules we have for the library?
